Le Baron Temps

This is one of those project that started with one idea, and it ended up being something completely different. And, for different, I mean way better than it was originally!

I wanted to portray a Victorian gentleman, and that’s how the photoshoot started. However, during the shoot Kim Jay, the model in the photos, thought it recalled the Baron Samedi. The Baron Samedi is one of the loa of Haitian Vodou. Since he is the loa of death, Kim thought to use the watches and portray the passing of time.

Each passing minute brings us closer to death; enjoy life while you still can.
