Chained

According to the dictionary, a chain is a series of usually metal links or rings connected to or fitted into one another and used for various purposes. We all know that, right? However, the term “Chain” has so many different meanings: a series of things linked, connected, or associated together; something that confines, restrains, or secures, etc.

So, a chain is used to “secure” something… and while you “secure” that something, you enslave it. Just like a person.
